In 2015, WLDN mounts The Haguenau Vigil for The Relais Culturel de Haguenau, organised during the celebrations of the 900th anniversary of the city. Performed over 365 days of the year, the inhabitants of Haguenau will keep watch at the same time as the inhabitants of Freiburg, on the other side of the border, in Germany for 6 months of this period.
The shelter, designed by Tovo&Jamil, is installed on the roof of an old army barracks, located in the rue Thurot in Haguenau. The barracks and the surrounding Thurot district, which had not been used since 2004, was the base for a major urban conversion into a new eco-district.
